I am so excited that there is a fun new MDS Challenge blog on the block and I am THRILLED to be a guest artist for their very first challenge.
Tara Bourgoin was one of this year's Artisan Award finalists and so very talented, so when I checked in on her blog last week and saw her announcement of the new challenge blog, I sent her a quick little email telling her how excited I was for her and how fun it sounded. I also asked her to keep me in mind if they ever wanted a guest artist.... well, she said YES! I am so excited that I get to be a part of their launch!
This week's challenge was a page sketch, and as soon as I saw it, I knew exactly what I wanted to do....
So for this page I used the text stamp of baseball sayings in place of the journaling, but when I print out the page I will put the names of all the boys on the team. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new Game Day Baseball download. We are a BASEBALL family. You see, my husband is that super good looking coach and 2 of those handsome boys are mine.
Please go check out the new MDS Monday Challenge Blog, take a look at what the talented design team has in store for you. I know I am very excited to play along!

How awesome you agreed to be our guest designer! You are very talented!! Love the baseball as an accent -- perfect page for the pic!

It's great to have you as our first Guest Designer - you rocked this sketch! I love the crumpled paper background and I think the idea of having all the different baseball sayings as the text is brilliant! Hope to see your work again soon on MDS Monday.
