Hi there!
I want to take a moment to welcome you to Camden's Corner and introduce you to the purpose of this blog
A few years ago, very dear friends of mine had a beautiful, wonderful little boy they named Camden. He has a smile that could make almost anyone fall in love with him. He also has Cerebral Palsy.
Now, I believe Camden came to their family because God knew what kind of an Angel his Momma is. Because of his special needs, she has stayed home with him, nurturing, loving and encouraging him to reach his fullest potential. They have made amazing strides. He has come such a long way, but his therapy and medical needs have put an additional strain on their family finances - he has a hard working Daddy that provides as best as he can, but of course there are always new things coming up and that can be challenging. Here's a little from Camden's Mom -
Camden is a sweet little 4 yr old who, in pictures, looks just as normal and happy as can be. But Camden struggled when he first came into this world. He wasn't breathing when he was born, and spent the first two weeks of his life in the NICU. His lack of oxygen at birth caused damage to the part of his brain that controls muscle function, which caused his cerebral palsy. Through lots of different therapies, Camden has learned to do many things that would just come normally to others. And there are still certain things that he can't do, such as walk unassisted and feed himself. But Camden is such a fighter, and we know that, with help, he will be able to eventually do those things and so much more!
It is my belief that many hands make burdens
light, and I believe that we can provide some of those hands. I think I
have come up with a great solution! So I'd like to officially welcome you to Camden's Corner!
From this new area of my blog, you can read more about Camden and his family and I plan on building a resource center full of great tutorials and finished product available for sale - all of which a portion of sales will go towards Camden's care.
I
have added my first tutorial (and almost done with my second)- a lovely gift box and card set featuring
the Collage Curios stamp set and Print Poetry Designer Paper Stack.
