Ok, so let me start off by saying that I am NOT one that usually creates too much with punches! Just not...not sure why, just don't. So this week, when I saw that we were creating with punches, my mind kind of went blank. Now, funny thing is, as y'all know, I have 3 BOYS, one would think that I would start thinking about trains, cars, monsters...I don't know. What I really don't know is how HELLO KITTY came to mind! LOL!
So here is my CARD for this week...
I know it's not PURRFECT (hee hee), but I don't think I did too bad considering.... give me some input!!! I also wanted to share this adorable birthday party invite that one of my AMAZING friend/customer created....
Isn't that AWESOME!?!?! It's one of her first things she created too! She hadn't owned MDS all that long. I started her off with a not as cute, but same basic idea for the Lorax and trees using the Many Mustaches , and she created THIS! I LOVE it and it is EXACTLY WHY I LOVE BEING A STAMPIN' UP! DEMONSTRATOR!!!! I love inspiring others and knowing that they are feeling such a wonderful feeling of accomplishment when they create something!
Oh my gosh, I love the hello kitty and the lorax cards! I never would have thought to use the mustashes for that- now I just might need that set! LOL this blog hop is bad on my wallet :)

Awww Jeanna! Thank you <3 I would never have been able to dream up anything close to this without your ideas and "rough draft." It set the tone for a fun party and I was really proud of it. MDS rocks and so does my awesome friend/demonstrator, Jeanna Bohanon, MDS Goddess ESQ.

Cool! I never would have thought of Hello Kitty or the Lorax. How awesome that you can make them with punches! Nice job!

Love the Hello Kitty! Would youo consider posting instructions?

Thanks Kathi! I made her pretty much using a series of oval punches. Stretched as needed. Even the whiskers are a stretched oval. Her ears are from the blossom punch I believe. I used a black mat so that I would maintain that cartoon look. I had to add a plain white circle punch where the ears overlapped the oval for the face.... does that help or even make sense?
