What a whirlwind of inspiration. I am so honored to be a part of this group of super talented ladies! I love looking at Jane's projects - she is so creative. I hope you are enjoying the hop as much as I am
I LOVE LOVE LOVE today's card. It is one of my favorites of any I have ever created. It took a little while, but I am so so so happy with the results. I LOVE mixing black in with my designs, I love the pop that it gives, especially to subtles and bolds.
I created the background with a series of square punches, stretched to a thin rectangle. Once I had them spaced and rotated, I filled them with various colors and changed the opacity. I added a rectangle to the center, filled it with white, changed the oppacity again to resemble vellum, then added another white rectangle for the sentiment area. The large letters are the Simple Letters Alphabet Punches, and the "thanks big time" stamp is from A Word for You, and the frame is from In Good Form. Lots of Bright Buttons and some very tediously cropped Baker's Twine for the stitching (SOOOO grateful for how easy this is now in MDS2!)
Here's the supplies I used on today's cards
My fav of your cards! LOVE IT TO THE MAX!

This is awesome. A video tutorial on how you did the background would be great! Great job, thanks for sharing.

I LOVED this card when I was lucky to receive it in the swap, and never for the life of me could I figure out how you made it. YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY the BEST with MDS, Jeanna! Amazing how you come up with so many fabulous ideas and have the time and patience to carry them out.

The comments above say it all. You are amazing and I started to say this card was my favorite, but I remember a couple other great cards. This is one of my favorites!
