How are you doing today? Well I hope. I have been a busy bee getting ready to send my boys back to school. It's always so bittersweet. I had these photos from a few years ago, and I thought it would be fun to pair them with the Kinda Eclectic set in some Regal colors. I loved how this page turned out (even with the butterflies - lol)

Ok, so I honestly really loved all the sets we received for Convention this year, that isn't always the case, but it sure was this year. I knew I would love this Amazing Birtday set the moment I saw it!

Inspire, Create, Share Convention 2014 - Display Board Samples Seasonally Scattered Merry

HI!

How was your weekend??? Mine was pretty laid back. I was down for a lot of the day Saturday after some pretty intense physical therapy ( for plantar fasciitis and a neurmona in my toes). My calves are SO bruised and sore right now.

Being as I LOVE Seasonally Scattered and the samples I created with it were my faves, I thought I would keep going with this set. Finally on to "MERRY" image.

All I did to make this card fancy was emboss the stamp with Gold Embossing Powder! I spoged a little around it to make the letters pop a little. Oh, and of course Gold Sequins, because they make everything FANCY.
 
My second card using this stamp set was also SPARKLY!!!
Seasonally Scattered Silver Merry Card Jeanna Bohanon
 
After I embossed this one in Silver Embossing Powder, I used a carft knife to cut out the center of the letters and backed it with Glimmer Paper. I will say that I really liked it without doing that step also and would totally do it that way for ones I was sending out!

Ok, I have GOT to get back on track! I have been having so much fun with posting MDS samples, that I haven't been posting my Convention samples.... bad Jeanna. You want to see more?

Being as I LOVE Seasonally Scattered and the samples I created with it were my faves, I thought I would keep going with this set. Finally on to "thanks" image.

I used my Stampin' Write Markers to color the image. I used MDS and my Silhouette to cut the little leaves and acorn.

What do you think of the new blog look???? I LOVE it. My super fancy friend Jane Lee was awesome enough to make me some new watermarks the other day and they totally inspired the makeover. Eeeeeeep.... happiness!!!!

Are you enjoying this beautiful weekend? We are wrapping up a trip to Southern California to visit my Mom and catch an Angels game (I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Angels - Go Halos) Even though we didn't win the game I went to, we won last night, so I feel a little better. I wish I had been able to go last night - they gave out cool Hawaiian shirts.

Today I wanted to share with you two cards that were up on the display boards. This is such a fun stamp set to play with. I loved coloring the images with markers to get different looks. I struggled at first to "see" what I wanted to with this set, but once I got started, I quickly fell in love with this set, and as soon as it is available on September 1st - I think you need it. Hopefully, these will help inspire you to put it on your wish list! Thought I would share this two ways today.
