Hi friends!
The Hardwood background stamp was embossed with Early Espresso powder on Crumb Cake cardstock, and the sentiment in Gold Embossing Powder on Vellum cardstock. I have been embossing a LOT lately!
Yes, I really cut out that flower stem from Happy Watercolor 3 times. It seemed like a good idea when I started. I stamped it on Watercolor paper so that the colors from the markers would be nice and intense. Three indivual gold sequins were added for that little extra touch. (They are also a great way to hide your adhesive when you use vellum)
I also made a little bonus project this week. I decided to use this month's featured MDS downloads to create a page for the MDS Monday Challenge #58! I used their sketch as a starting point, and followed their challenge of changing the colors of a Designer Series Paper. Take a look.
Sometimes I overlook a pattern because of the colors. The colors of the Kaleidescope DSP are very bright and bold, but I wanted to pull colors from my photo and being able to recolor the papers and embellishments in MDS are a HUGE benefit to using the program!
Hope you enjoy all of the AMAZING projects that the rest of the team has for you today. These are some special projects, so please let the team know what you think! Now go head on over to see the FABULOUS Jennifer Timko - she is seriously SO SUPER awesome! Love her
