Welcome back! Guess what I had this week? I FINALLY had a day alone in my home, with no kids or hubby to take care of! It's been since last Thanksgiving, people. I NEEDED it!!! Then you know what happened 2 days later? Yup, sick kiddo. It's how it happens, right?
This week we had the COOLEST challenge, and I just hope my card isn't too lame. I really should have pushed myself harder on it, but, well - life's been crazy, so this is staying in my "to try" book.

I like the way it turned out and all, but I really want to try and play a little more and maybe even do some hand stitching.
I call this a scrap card. Literally every single piece on this card came from the scrap pile. You know, that pile of STUFF that sometimes you stamp or cut thinking it will be perfect for a project and then it's not. You can't throw that stuff away!!! I grabbed the pieces, arranged them then ran them through my sewing machine. (Good thing my mom was visiting so the machine was actually OUT - lol)
Easy-peasy, but it really does add a nice touch to projects, I think.
I totally need more inspiration on this technique, so I am hoping to see a LOT of entries at #TGIFC this week!!!
I appreciate you stopping by my blog today, and I would love to be your Stampin'Up! Demonstrator if you don't currently have one. In fact, when you place an order with me during the month of September and use the Hostess Code 4CMKX4S4, I will send you a free handmade card for you to use for every $10 you spend! If you are looking for a place to start, here are the products I used on today's project.
